Burnham IN8
Our I&O shows the overall width of the IN8 to be 30-3/4" with a dimension of 2-3/4" from left side to center of left riser and 4" from right side to center of right riser. Do the math and that comes up as (30-3/4") - (6-3/4") = 24" between the centers of the risers. Our testing with the fittings we used showed a cut nipple dimension of 20-9/16" but that's with the fittings we used. Your fittings may have a different makeup distance than what we used so it is always advisable to wait until you have the boiler and fittings in hand first. Also....a dropped header will allow you a bit more flexibility with the between fitting dimension in the field. Hope this helps.

Burnham IN8
Does anybody know what the center to center measure of the distance between the two tappings for the risers is. I am trying to avoid having to cut any 3" nipples? Thanks.
