Electric hot water heat

Options
check if your panel(s) can handle the load, sounds like it might be significant with 3 units.

3 @ 60 amps each = 180 amps! ouch!

    Argo Boilers

Argo among others make electric boilers listed for the application. Hydronically speaking they are applied the same as most boilers (air separator, expansion tank, full circulation through the heat exchanger).

i'm a bit partial to these. they have a very small footprint and now come with a new control board with outdoor reset and priority DHW.

At 1.23 a therm for gas, and .08 a KWH for electric in my area, it is still considerably cheaper to heat with gas in my area. Just a homeowner here but that is something to consider, sounds like a bit to heat. Can you side vent a fuel burning appliance?
