I'd say this vent looks
like a kid I went to school with he came up missing from class only to find him on the third floor fire escape trying to hatch an egg he saw in a birds nest.... As the teacher put it his heart was in the right plces just that his a$$ was in the wrong place.0 -
What's the problem? I don't get it....

It is obvious
that the arrows fell off and now the air is lost.
Just get new arrows pointing the way to the air vents and all will be well.
And I bet you wanted to charge these poor people lots of money for a re-pipe!
If you can't find the stick-on arrows, use a black "Sharpie". Make sure it is black! Air is color blind and cannot see blue, red or green.
Yes, that is a very nice soldering job. The installer got good coverage on the connected piping and obviously paid attention to the slobbering er soldering lessons given on TOH. All that "extra" solder can be chipped up and used by the next guy. Sorta' like a squirrel hiding acorns.
All in all, a well thought out installation.
Remember...new arrows.

It's the optimistic approach to air elimination.0
