so correct. I bet the wheel was a long time making progress. As I remember from Disney World the wheel is extreamly old, but I bet many years passed till it took off. Look at the pipe industry, and caulked joints. No-hub and M-J clamps and yet caulking is still around.
I guess that harnessing the power of a tornado is just going to have to wait. Mabey that is the scare? It perhaps is so simple that it defies logic. If it were a new nuclear idea and complicated as all get out, I bet the "Scientists" would have a go at it. Like photo-voltaic for solar collection. Yet the tornado has been perplexing man for a very long time. If that tornado were to run persistantly we could get a cheap shock from it.

any one read this article?
in Energy Pulse Weekly ,Jan 30 2006 ?
Atmospheric Convection Engine By Louis Michaud .
the idea was a thought that got a bit of editorial space in the early 60's also in science weeklys Newsletter as i recall. perhaps by other researchers and scientists.0 -
I just did
Wow what an idea, however the "economy" will wait to support it because it could be free power, and free power does not make a lot of money right now. It is like the cold fusion thing, was it a farce or a fact? I'd almost bet that the $$$ thing has the "cold shoulder" from the develop/research people. If very low cost & or free energy was placed in the market, it sooner or later would cause the economy to rupture. Like free $$$ given to a people, the costs of everything in that area goes sky high, because the people have no reguard for the sweat requierd to obtain the $$$ in the first place.0 -
Some ideas ,like feeding the starving
don;t work. something about causing the agricultural industry to be Thrown into a crisis, which in turn causes an upheaval in the economy . it is a curious deal, large projects that would help the world or planet have certain costs of man power and resources this in turn creates things like windows of opportunity, sort of do it and get it done or it just never gets done.
Macro economics requires Agreement to do things, trouble arises when there is no unified front or voice for challenging the status quo. to me it seems that there is a general reluctance to democratise some very important development decisions and then there is also a lack of interest or apathy that seems to almost always prevail.
that leads to reactionary solutions or solutions that are arrived at through the decision not to make a decision. Everyone here reads studies works educates informs advocates day to day,it is basically SOP about the only difference is the topics generally get a thought or two plus and minus as to the whys and wherefores from a lot of different perspectives, being doers we get it done *~/:)
to get floors walls and ceilings insulated only take about 400,000 years:) half a kali yuga , buh hey its in our construction practises Now
to me this isn't the first time an idea goes out ,lands like nowhere and is shelved for a later date...0 -
