Asked this question before , but got buried. Now a member of Pink Floyd Nation, so thought I would ask again

Can a small 2 Zome [TACO] 4x oversized natgas boiler with fintube and 1 Cirulator [on the return side] be effectively switch to only ONE large zone by utilizing 1 Tstat and slaving the zone valves together and eliminating one of the TT to the A-S control

    yes

    You disconnect one of the thermostats, and leave one of the valve in the manual position, so when ever the thermostat calls for heat hot water will flow to both zones.

    I thought about that, but figured it was too easy

    I don't have any weighted check V's, so wasn't sure if I would have backflow issues
