Boiler protection

Your boiler seems like it's pretty, Primary/2ndary piping is one form of protection, and the bypass is another form of boiler protection. Is there a setting on that control for condensate protection? Where it can shut down the pumps at a dangerous temp to build temp in the boiler? A four way valve could also do more for you than the bypass. Gool Luck!

What would be the best way to provide boiler protection for an existing CI boiler with an infloor zone ?.Three zones in total a cast iron rads zone , a baseboard zone and infloor zone .The system is primary secondary with a Tekmar 256 and taco three way mixing valve and a boiler bypass . The system runs fine just looking at insuring the boiler has the highest degree of protection from thermal shock or flue gas condensation . Injection mixing looks promising as does a 4 way mixing valve like a Taco iSeries valve . Not looking for the cheapest but the most cost effective solution . As I said earlier it runs fine just hovers at condesing temps 130 -140 for about 15 min when all zones are calling .0
