and they are running very well. Maybe the noises you are hearing are the expansion noises as the units heat up on each cycle. Also, depending on how they are installed, they may not be getting adequete flow when a moodule shuts down, causing water to boiler in the heat exchanger. I have seen this problem on many manufacturers' boilers.

    Slantfin caravan boilers

    I have 2 buildings with the slantfinn caravan boiler systems. They are cast iron pin type single pass. The boilers thump and pop. The controls are working properly and the operating limits are set for 180 deg. These systems have done this from day one. They have 3 years of service. Anyone else seen this problem?
