Central humidifying with hyfro-air

in THE MAIN WALL
I have a 3 zone hydro air system. one of the zones covers all our bedrooms. Is there a way to add humidity to the air right at the air-handler? I tried to cheat by running a humidifier right at the centeral return but (as the pros here probably already know) it didnt work.
