Munchkin boilers

in THE MAIN WALL
I've been servicing a number of Munchkin boilers keeping them running. A great customer has 3 installed. One is 3 1/2 years old and needs a new blower motor, among other things. The best price I can find for the blower is $563.00 before taxes. Has anyone had similar problems on such new installs? Yes the boiler was installed as per all manufactures instructions. If I where the home owner facing this rather large service bill, I'd be rather upset.
I have strong feelings about Munchkin which I made clear, I still work on them and keep an open mind!

    Thanks for the reply. Jim kelleher, I would like to get your email, any info on these boilers,will help me, if we can call them that.Its seems I've got in to some trouble on the wall for talking bad about Munchkin. I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one thinking the whole things was a terrible idea.

    you know when a product is ahead of its time it does not make it a bad idea, these boilers area great idea, they just have not had the years to be perfected that some other methods have had, think about it. When computers were new they were not perfected, and when automobiles were new they were not perfect either, they need fine tuning, and these boilers have not been on the market to be perfected, there is always a lerning curve and untill enough units are out to be learned from nothing is leaned. The way a rep handels a product is almost always what makes or breaks a product.
