Wish I was
out selling bread and milk today.
Even people who are wheat and lactose intolerant are buying it by the armload. Conditioned response.
What amazes me is that this storm was over west Texas yesterday AM and is now over Southern Alabama yet will be here tonight.0 -
Snow cruising
on Long Island is fun during "blizzard" conditions. Most of the usual nuts and cowboys are home cowering in front of their 60 inch flatulent screen T.V.s......Coming from Upstate N.Y. (Syracuse) area I too revel in snow and enjoy natures winter panorama. Too bad it only lasts for a few hours.

Get ready to hit those (bunny) slopes. =:)
No lift lines, no waiting.0 -
Surf's up!
We're headed to an outdoor pool party. A mid-winter's bit of madness fun with a group where no one worries about being silly. Gotta dress appropriately(G)!

Gosh!
The roads in Hawaii are worse than the roads here!
Sure are big pot-holes.
Wonder if it takes 4 guys six hours to fill one like it does here?
Careful drivin' Dan.

I just have
mom make and send it over, its always good. However I found a restaurant that served the best, made with homemade bread a not a place witout bread, she cut it up in big chunks, she even puts moms to shame, but that place is no more.0 -

OK Steamhead
But my daughter just called from there she says has 12"0 -
The drifts
might be that high. For once, the Weather Service called it right. They've been "crying wolf" all winter.

18.5" today! And no pics Milne - this is a family oriented site(G). Showing up "dressed" for the occasion was a huge hit though and brought much laughter. Even took along a beach umbrella with its own stand. It was a great way to celebrate winter and the arrival of the blizzard.
