convert monoflow to loop

Can I convert monoflow with the old type convection radiators (look like mini slantfins) to a loop and leave them in and will it effect thier output. Some people say to take them out and put elbowed slant fin 3 high in the wall unit. I am only doing this because my kids split home is zoned northside, southside not first floor 2nd floor like it should be and the zones need to be changed.

Converting question ; The problem with a loop system , as it passes through each convector it looses temperature and lessons btu output . Another problem cutting up and using existant piping is the output is limited to the smallest passage or pipe..You may need more then it can handle. Need numbers and fact before a problem.......The problems shows up during the coldest nights of the year.. Ask me how I know that?

Radiation Question; I would use the same dimension element. The output is in its cabinet design as well as the EDR of the element.
