R-19 is the preferred for underfloor. Regular batts, unfaced work as well as anything. Just follow manufacturer's recommendation for the type of installation you have. Never use craft face with the face against the tubing. The smell is unforgettable and tough to get rid of.

insulation for staple-up
Does the insulation for staple-up radiant need to be foil faced, kraft faced, or can it be unfaced?? Also, what is the minimum R-value for staple-up??
Thanks,

if you're over unheated space, I'd use as much as you can, R30 at least. Those joist bays can get pretty warm.0
