At the moment I have alot of Old Sch 80 brass pipe that I inherited from my grandfather and I been looking for a good project to use it. I was figuring out my new heating system and it hit me that the headers would look good in polish brass. Its going to a hydronic system. So do you guys think I can use it? I'm just starting to get into heating and I don't to much about codes.

    Thanks

That pipe would make a splendid-looking system. The heavy wall weight and assumed NPT standard properly jointed would be worthy of a calendar...

gives me an idea for a Wallie Installation calendar- for the right cause...

But I think polished brass pipe would be to code and stunning. Trouble is, you would never want to insulate it!

    no.

Go with the pole and lets have a paaaty.

Ok, it's a great idea to use it but the pole idea really sounded like fun.

    I'd build

a hydronic bed frame, chair, lamp, hydronic art piece.. Something that more folks would see and appreciate.

Or send it my way :)

Will you thread and use brass screw fittings? Can it be threaded without jaw marks?

    hot rod
