This place especially! Just got back from a no heat call. These people have a home up here in West Van, while they live in California. Get there, the T-80 is in a F-9 fault. I cleaned the sparky, put back, sparking but no lift off! So I tried the switcheroo from the rectifier to the sparker. Whoosh! Flame! Heat! Hot water.

Let it run for about 30 minutes then put the wires back to their original places. Turned it off and on at least half a dozen times and beautiful blue flames could be seen inside!

I figure the place was without heat for about 6-10 days based upon the temperature of the domestic hot water. It was down to 80* from 140*.

Was just wondering if maybe the power outage that this area just went through about 10 days ago (it lasted about 2 days) maybe played a bit of havoc with the computer? It seemed that at first the gas valve was not allowing the gas to get to the burner.
