Munchkin Contender

My "non-prof" opinion here, with all new products, is to wait till it gets run thru the masses>> [example the Ultra series is in its second generation] they learned from some mistakes and upgraded to a better quality.
Applies to boilers, cars, TV etc, not to say it is inferior in any way, just sometimes benifical,, but somebody has to be the beta tester>> good luck

Munchkin Contender
Can anyone give me a little feed-back on Munchkin's new Contender boiler, say the 50 or 80 model. Or is it too soon to get any accurate info?0 -
A little soon...
... it started shipping about 3-4 weeks ago.
We've got a couple test locations (mostly higher temp applications) in for about 6 months now... so far so good. Not what you were looking for I'm sure but thought I'd reply anyways.0 -
Interesting, thnks
I am getting ready to install an Ultra-80, any day now. Yet I'm always looking for options, and the Contender certainly sounds like its name implies. And I'd be using it for the higher temps, feeding old cast radiators.0
