Here's from the NYTimes last week, but it features bathroom RFH:

Have your builder get in touch with Uponor's marketing dept., or Cindy Albrecht at 1-800-321-4739

Robert Bean is perhaps the best source of all, if documentation and verification is wanted:
Call or email him for more info.

Working with a builder on 54 townhomes

that are due to receive infloor heat. My builder is requesting something a little different.

He does NOT WANT nice glossy literature from manufacturers that clearly explain benefits. He suggest the future HO's eyes will glaze over and will easily be stricken off the "must have" list of options.

I must agree, there is some merit to his logic. He wants black and white newspaper articles that would be pro-radiant but from a neutral standpoint. This builder does believe in radiant floors, but is only offering it as an option.

I have searched the library, MSN, Googled, and haven't found exactly what I think he wants. I have come close with an article at this link.

If you can help further, let me know.

    Regards,

    PR

  • Hi Paul:

I have an article from New York Newsday Part II from June 8th, 2006.

The article is about "green" building and energy efficiency.

Part of the article talks about a Long Island couple who installed infloor radiant heat in their second floor renovation. I think it is exactly what you are looking for.

Check out www.newsday.com to see if you can get the article. If not, send me an e-mail and I will make a copy for you and mail it to you.

    Good luck,

    Craig Asher

    RPA

I thought I had an article from the RPA that talks about radiant but nothing flashy. Does anyone know about this one?
