    Dan can't you limit picture size???
    You know the problem is only going to get worse.
    People now will be posting 3-5mb pictures because they have a 5-10mpix camera.

    As long as it is not checked to be displayed, I do not care. I have never re-sized, but my camera has a low m-pix setting so they are smaller. Nothing worse than scrolling left & right to follow a thread...

    When I see

    an oversized photo I just unclick the box that displays it automatically with the post. That puts the photo into the tray. If we open it from there it's not a problem.

    People can also use PREVIEW before posting to see what they're about to do.

    That's it.

    It makes some threads hard to follow. It also really slows down the internet when trying to look at a 5mb pic. 640x480 is more than enough for viewing on the web.

    I'm the least

    of the computer guru's but if it's a large file, before posting simply open with your photo edit program, resize it, call it something else if you don't want to perminately save with the small file size, then add to the thread.
