Modulating GB142 with Tekmar 360 &Quick-Mix? (what's needed?)

Have a pre-installed system that's a:
Tekmar 360 (with outdoor reset) GB142/30 Buderus Quickmix Superstor Indirect
this supplies three zones downstrea, controlled by zone valves.
What do we need to add to the system do modulate the boiler. In the existing system, the boiler temp is manually controlled (dial on buderus) and set at 150, above the condensing / efficiency range.
Could we add a 270 or something to this system? If so, how would you configure?
thanks

yes
You need the Buderus em10 module that goes with the GB142. Then select a Tekmar that can modulate a condensing boiler. Get one that can reset the boiler and a mix temp.

The GB 142 used to be shipped with an RC10 room control with indoor reset, this control should have been wired directly to the boiler control, and modulated the boiler according to the difference between room temp and setpoint. with a 1 temp system with domestic hot water I believe there is no need for an additional reset control such as the Tekmar 360, these are for resetting the water temp on a non condencing boiler. I would suggest getting in touch with Buderus technical support, they might help finding a profesional installer in your area.0 -
If you want to modulate based on all three zones' input, you'll need a tekmar 422 I think, 335 zone control, and 541 thermostats.
Otherwise, use the RC10 as noted in other posts to at least get indoor feedback.0 -
again,
If you want to modulate the boiler with a Tekmar, you need an EM10. With that you can use a Tekmar that modulates the boiler.
NRT Rob is correct, but you can use other Tekmar controls such as the 270.
Personally, I like the TN4 stuff alot. I would go with that.
