Find BTUs, figure your cost of power / gas per unit, and do the math. Typically, yes, the gas is cheaper, but the electric is easier to install & maintain...

    will a gas hot water heater pay its sell off instead of a electric .just wondering i will be doing install also lookm at instantaneous, i hear mixed reviews about that. let me know .Thanks
