Another main vent question

so I'm posting this diagram with the question; should I worry about drilling and tapping for venting the branch/sub branch? It looks like a good spot would be just before the return drop, next to the main vent (see photo). I have a Gorton #2 on order to replace the Hoffman #4 on the main. Most of the rads are only partially heating up. Of course, it's been pretty warm here in the Fingerlakes country....
Thanks,

The proper place for that vent
would be at the end of the 14-foot sub-branch, near the takeoff to the last radiator. If the Hoffman you're removing from the long main is a #4A, it would work OK on the sub-branch.
