Warranty Cards, etc.
I'm interested in knowing what is the common practice or the best policy for handling all of the manufacturer-provided warranty cards, warranty literature, etc. for your customer that is included with the various equipment you install.
Do you have a consistent policy or procedure that you follow with each install?
Thanks,
Bill

I did the same, but
Went over all literature, filled out the cards with the customer present, then mailed them in.0 -
Contractor Warranty
I agree with the above methods. What are your procedures for coordinating your contractor warranty (installation and overall materials, equipment and labor)with the boilerplate manufacturer warranty?
This would be a good time to also provide customized operation and maintenance brochures specific for that job.
