Brand names?

In no particular order:

Beacon-Morris, Myson, Turbonics. Also Burnham (the boiler people) markets a wider range of sizes versus the nominal 4 and 8 MBH models, going up to 12 or 14 MBH I believe.

I have heard good things about the Myson and Turbonics for quietness for these are in general known to be a tad noisy. I always specify them with variable speed control regardless, by the way.

    Brand names?

We only once installed a toekick heater and I'm not familiar to look at one and know which brand it is. We have a client with one on a closet floor adjacent to a bathroom (looney! we didn't install it) and someone stacked stuff on the fan blade, not enough to bend it, but enough to stop it from moving and I think the motor is burnt. Can anyone give me a quick list of brands so that I can look online to troubleshoot and/or replace?

    Thanks in advance, Adam

I have a VRV Products Quiet One. Needs a bearing, but built in under a cabinet by the previous HO.

    I too...

Like the Turbonics units. Far easier to service when they break....and they will break.

If I install the VRV Quiet One, I always put shut offs underneath it with drains on the feed and return. This will only entail me taking IT off line for repairs and not the whole system.(AH, the things we learn along the way!) Chris

    Hi Adam,
You might also look for Embassy products here:
    http://www.embassyind.com/

    They manufacture the 'Hide-A-Vector' brand.

I have two of their units in my home, and used to install them in bathrooms I built very frequently.

    They're located in Hauppauge, NY.
