I just received a print from my builder.The specs were supplied by the potential homeowner.He requested all the hydronic piping be (and I quote)Pex 1/2" with oxygen barrier using copper.I have never heard of this, have you? If you have who makes it?.

New one to me maybe he meant aluminium. Pex-Al-Pex0 -

I wonder if the owner isn't confused and meant pex-al-pex that is common.

and a half dozen forien sites came up, not able to read those sites couldnt tell you what they said but looked like Pex-Al-Pex on one0 -

I don't know where he found it either.He did give pex-al-pex as a back-up but I prefer pex-a so I will give pex-al-pex as an extra.
