LOOKING FOR A FEW MORE SANTAS (Dan H.)

DanHolohan

packing up these Santa letters from the New York Cares Winter Wishes program. Watch your mailbox if you volunteered to buy a toy for a child in a city shelter. Chances are yours will be the kid's only gift this year.

These letters are so sweet. One little girl said that what she wants for Christmas is a baby brother. I sent that one to a special friend. ;-)

I have 17 more children to take care of. If you'd like to help with one of them, plese e-mail me your STREET address and I'll put one in the mail for you.

Thanks for caring about these little ones. Happy Thanksgiving.

    Anyone else?

These kids are pretty cute. Pay no attention to the grown-up. Not so cute.

    I have

    11 letters left.

A lot of people tell me that they take their own children shopping for these gifts. It's a fine way to teach the true meaning of this season.

Can I get just a bit more help for these kids? Thanks.

    Thanks to

    John Alberg and family.

We're down to 10. I'm leaving for Scranton, PA, where I will speak to the ASHRAE folks this evening. Perhaps by the time I get home tomorrow the rest of the letters will have found people with big hearts.

That would be such a nice Thanksgiving present for all of us. Thanks.

Dan, I just spoke with to of our dispatchers Paul and Mondo both of these guys have hearts bigger than Texas :) They will each take a letter. Just mail the letters to me and I’ll take care of the rest.

    Wonderful!

So now I have three children left.

With a community this size, we should have room for three more children, shouldn't we?
