Taco Panetrol ???

and it was a 60's style deck house with 3/4 copper in cement. The boiler was using a mixing/by-pass valve made by Taco called a Panetrol.
It was obviously set to a temp but just wondering if it was adjustable or thermostatic ?
I know one of oyu must have seen one.
