Super Stor aquastat well
I have an SS-60, about 6-7 years old, that began leaking thru the well this evening. The well was factory installed and I'm hoping that it's not welded. Removing the plastic escutcheon and loosening the aquastat don't give me a real good look at the area where it enters the tank. The bulb will not come out of the well because it's very corroded (dissimilar metal corrosion, which may even be the cause of the leak?).Does any one know if the well is replaceable?Thanks.0 -
Well
The well is replaceble. 3/4 inch extended is what you will need. Use an open end wrench or a large adjustable to take it off.0
