How good are your experiences w/ Crown Tobago HW boilers?
I put one in and was impressed. I liked the fact it has CI push nipples, and it is competively priced. I just came from a Weil Mclean that was leaking from the seals to the extent that it rusted through the threaded rod, the rear section separated a little and the seal apparently burned up, as a new rod can not stop the leaking. Am inclined to replace this loser with a Crown, as the piping and top flue configuration is similar.0 -
Got half a dozen in this year. No problems whatsoever. A bit noisy at the max firing rate. Didn't need it anyway, just tried it to see how it performed. Nothing like experimentation! At the bottom rate it is very guite.
