Manifold mounted below PEX staple up

I am installing a PEX staple up job. It is a very, very open floorplan. I can't find a good location on this main floor to mount the manifold. Would it be OK to mount the manifold below the pex? Would this cause air purge problems? Should I tee off the manifold and raise an air vent above the height of the PEX?
Thanks,
Dan S.

Purging should not be an issue
with smaller tubing especially. I have a radiant second floor bathroom with my manifold in the basement. 114 feet of tubing, no air. Just purge each tube one at at time using full pressure water.0
