has a nice complete line of dehumidifiers, from pool applications to industrial and lumber industries.
I would contact them for technical support or hire an HVAC/Mechanical Engineer in your area familiar and experienced with the principles and systems.

Distribution of the airflow is as critical if not more so than the equipment selected.

Knowing your limitations & just sticking to your expertise, or letting fear rule the day.

I've been asked to design/install a Desert-Air dehumidification system by one of my best general contractors.

The application is a single family residential home with the indoor pool being in the basement. There is habitable living space directly above the pool room.

I am the mechanical contractor on this job and will be installing the radiant heating system along with 3 A/C systems. The pool contractor dumped this one in my lap
and I'm not sure I want it.

It's been over twenty years since I've installed one of these and it just seems like it may be more trouble than it's worth. There's always a learning curve and I've got enough work as it is.

Here's my dilemma. The pool guy won't do it, I don't particularly want to do it, but..... I also don't want to let my GC down and force them to hire a 3rd party to install this thing.

    What's your opinion?

    Any experience with these systems?

    Should I let it go?

    Thanks in advance.
