The first thing I do is pull those out, and throw them away. I don't read them. Gee, that's good use of advertizing dollars - something that I immediately throw away. I keep the rest of magazine with the "regular" ads in them, so I see those ads over and over.

And, as careful as I try to be, I almost always rip pages. I, too, am annoyed by these.

Guess Steve Smith doesn't listen

Got home today and opened this month P&M magazine, those damn kolher and sterling tack on ads, no matter how careful I try to pull them out and THROW them away, the pages in the magazine get ruined, often with the good informations on it. I met Steve Smith some time ago at a radiant floor seimiar in Chicago, over lunch I expressed my opinion about this as he asked me what I dislike about the magazine... Told him why doesn't P&M as well the other just tack those ads to another advertisding(sp) pages , so that way we won't lose the good pages....
"We'll look into it and can be done." He says. Flash forward to the recent ISHNA show in Chicago, I saw him and questioned him again and he gave me the look like he doesn't care and as long he get paid. So what? Those Kolher and Sterling are giving me another reason NOT to buy from them as they are giving me monthly griefs.. May seems petty but it off of my chest...

It's the little things that make all the difference. Everyone needs to be heard, and I hate feeling like the big guys don't care about the little guy's opinions...
