Will Gorton valves work with convectors? See Picture

in THE MAIN WALL
All, I went to the actual Gorton site and they use only radiators for examples. Will the vents work with convectors? Thats what I have. Most of my convectors will not heat up fast enough unless I take the vent totally off and feel for heat on the pipe coming in.
