Boy that would be expensive gas!! Gas is sold in CCF's (hundred cu. ft.) or therms, which are fairly equivalent. Right now we are paying $1.22 per therm, including all delivery charges and taxes. That works out to about 1.2 cents per cu. ft.

    NG cost

Our Keyspan Nat gas is divided into supplier and delivery charges and other ?? and sold by the CCF

It does change based upon the volume purchased>> The only way to get " true cost" is to divide your bill by CCF used

Last month was $2.06 per CCF for 86 CCF>> prior month was $2.39 per for 42 CCF

One galoon of Oil is the same BTU as 135CuFt Nat gas, 1.53 gal of Propane, 41.03KWhs Electricity those gas prices seem awfully high

If I calculated right it would work out to 1.84 and 1.39 to an equivalent gallon, however you also have to factor into that price the delivery charge of 9.64 and that will vary upon volume of gas used.
