Chris did this install last week
We took out a Tank type commercial hot water heater that was 80 gallons and 180,000 input.
We installed a Takagi KD20 with 185,000 input with a modulating gas valve.
Sweet install and we are saving the School System lots of cash.

Kudos!
Nice job. Sure am glad to be alive & working in the trades at this time. My how things are changing(G). In PA, the tankless water heaters also by-pass otherwise required state inspections for pressurized storage vessels.

Takagi
Nice, Scott. We are just installing one ourselves. Do you have to use the category III stainless steel pipe on the fresh air inlet side? We were just planning on using PVC (haven't gone over the instructions yet).

We use 24 gauge galvinsed.
If you noticed we hav;nt hooked up the fresh air instake to the outside. We needed to get this up and running for the school. We'll go back and connect the concentric vent fresh air intake.

Nicely applied *~/:)
That looks like something that belongs in this century
it really helps when you can say,
" well take a look at this clean space saver".
the tile on that wall sure gives the asthetics an A+this is what i mean by vision control, when a guy can look at the space and say to himself,
'thats what belongs there. '

Very Nice Fellas
I would like to see what the gas consumption drops to. It will be impressive I'm sure. You did the school a real favor with that install.
