fittings for an american radiator
I can not seem to find the 90 degree union that comes out of an old american radiator. does anyone know who would carry parts that would work. Gutted the old steam system, running all new but keeping the radiators. only problem can't find a 90 that will work. see what happens when crane operator try to plumb0 -
no one has it
am looking for a 90 degree union for an american radiator. going from steam to closed system. tried all the large plumbing suppy houses here in reno nevada and no one has anything that will match the thread for the conection to the radiator. tried a boiler supply shop and they said try HEATINGHELP. It is a female pipe outlet and union nipple inlet. Thanks for the help. danny0 -
You'll have to replace BOTH SIDES--valve AND tailpiece. Radiator valves (and angle elbows) are a union type connection that works by metal-to-metal contact.0
