Mark,
The battereis are almost done being charged for my Testo! When testing the CO, I can alter that # by increasing and decrasing the gas/air ratio correct?

CO
What should the CO be for a GB142-24 condensing boiler?
I saw Tim post that you should try to test at least 18" down stream from the appliance but Buderus gives you a port at the boiler? Any help is appreciated.

I get,
>28 ppm for the GB 30 LP at the test port .
97.8 eff, I can't remember off hand CO2, O2 flue temps. But can post
those later if you want.0 -
Please do?
I did read the below 400 PPM part but that seems very vauge to me.
I just fired mine up tonight and I want to set it up so my family wakes up in the morning.

Uhhhhhhh
Buderus is telling you that 400ppm means BIG problems, NOT that 399ppm is good.
Under 100ppm Jamie, but I have never seen a CO number higher than 30ppm on a GB.
Also, the test port that Buderus and Viessmann provide is fine.

Jamie that 18\" to 24\"
is if the manufacturer does not give a test point. Most American manufacturers do not give any place to test. They also do not give perimeters for what CO2, O2 etc you should have.
The 400 PPM figure is the ANSI tandard for "Allowable" CO in a flue sample. As Mark has stated we shoot for under 100 and on a Viesman or Buderus product it should not be hard to get 25 PPM.0 -
I posted the <400PPM from the Manuel, I knew what Tim and Mark were going to say but how can you expect people to know any better if that is what the manuel is ging to state??0 -
Yes
that is correct.
Always good to see your posts Jamie!
