Could somebody please tell me the diffence between having a Gorton D on my rad and a Gorton 1 on my main. Both vents have the same venting capacity, right (.700 CFM). I'm confused.

one is designed
to be put on a radiator..the other is designed to be put on a main pipe..the main vent vents the air that is ONLY in the main..this makes it easier on the radiator vent which now only has to vent the radiators air and the runout pipes air..

One's nickel plated
One's nickel plated, the other is painted gold. One has an 1/8" thread, the other a 3/4". Otherwise I believe the innards are the same. If you find out there is a difference in their temperature setting or something, please let us know. But I believe they are both designed to close at about 180 degrees.0
