White paper on short cycling

I have a TACO SR502 2 zone switching relay that supports my boiler and a SMART PHASE III 30 gal domestic hot water storage tank. What would cause it to "short cycle" about three times before staying on, or before shutting down, when calling for hot water, and what's the fix.

    Maybe I missed them somehow, but does anyone know how to find parts II and III of the Patterson-Kelly white paper authored by Jack McKeegan on short cycling?

    i asked the same question a while ago.

    some writing leaves you hungry :) perhaps, it is designed that way :)Perhaps this is a recruiting tool for PK :) part one was that good :) my milling around on thier site and a few others ,while informative, never turned up the remainder of the white paper:(
