in the bottom of that tee.

Use a 3/4" pve mpt and trap it. MOST important that you prime that trap as well as the one inside the boiler. Pour some water down the exhaust to prime the flus condensate and pull the interior trap out to prime it.

    GB142 drain question.

On page 21 of the installation manual it is unclear as to what the condensate connection is on the bottom of the 3 x 3/4" tee. It looks as though there is to be a trap under the 3" tee and another one below boiler.

Am I not seeing this correctly?

    Thanks!

a trap underneath the exhaust tee. There is a trap in the boiler which you must prime before start up.

    Hope this helps, Darin

    Drain

I prefer to use clear tubing with a loop in it.That way you can see if your trap is holding it's prime or if it plugs.

    Good Luck

This is our first GB142 install and it happens to be for a Minnesota Viking player so we are under the scope on this one, and no, he was not on the "boat"!
