The invasion

First thing I'do do is throw them all out and send them a bill for repairs. I have no use (family or not)for anyone who shows so little respect for my home and property...and if the mrs. complains,.......

    The Invasion

The in-laws, the sister in-law, husband, three **** children and the family dog have invaded my home. Day 3 and the stairs, toilet, banister, china closet, plants, door knob are broken, the dog marked my walls and there is no more alcohol. But my STEAM still works! (I shut it last nite...i'm trying to freeze them out, just not cold enough) What next?
  • Reminds me of a joke.....

How are a fugitive and inlaws different?..........

    The fugitive is wanted!!

Good luck - I'm feeling your pain (inlaws, kids, etc....)

    I'm not a \"Debbie Downer\" (SNL)

I can feel your pain, Anthony. I really can.

The day after "Rita" I went from a one-person home, to six plus a dog (all drunks except the dog :) My 8 yr old had NEVER seen such behaviour.

Christmas was bliss, just me, the dog & a bottle of J&B. Sounds like a song in the making :)

I know you know this already, Anthony, that Kids learn from adults, so please don't call them "****", even if they did act like destructive little Sh*ts.

They probably get in a huddle when you're out of ear-shot, and talk about what a real As%$#le you are. We know you aren't, but you know how it goes.

You'll get through it, and I bet I know what at least ONE of your new year's resolutions will be (it will be regarding who visits whom, and when :)

Happy new year to all, you can crank up the steam now.

Brian, 69* in Swampland. (This weather's nuts).

    Thanks Brian

I am glad I was the only one who cringed at the B word when talking about the kids. Funny how things change between saying something and writing it down, I am sure that he wasn't serious but the written word carries more weight and takes out the minimal(under your breath) way it might sound when spoken!

Merry Christmas all, and hopefully the D*mn inlaws leave soon!!

How about a fresh air intake fan ducted to the inlaws bedroom that works on a timer, giv'em a cold shot of air between 3 and 4am. Increase the interval by 3 hours everyday they are there. More than 2 days, then just install a fire sprinkler (you know for their protection), wire in a solenoid and relay into the fresh air intake fan timer.....

any body got a new broom

I feel the pain with you.

My Monster in Law flew in on her broom and just my luck it broke down. Now have you ever tried to find a broom mechanic on a holiday? Monster-in-laws like fish begin to stink the moment they tell you they are on the way!

If you can find them WOW Chips will cause TERRABLE cramps when eaten too fast worked for me once. Just put those suckers out and nature took over! The old broom worked just fine that day, but it left a trail all the way home and a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang sound.

Good Luck and happy New year.

OH I really need that broom!
