cast iron baseboard

I have a customer that wants cast iron baseboard. But he wants to mount it up on the wall. What is the max height I can mount CI baseboard on the wall ? He was hopping to mount it up about six feet. The room has tall ceilings, approx 10'.

It's not intended to be hung from a wall, so I'm pretty certain any manufacturer would not have any guidelines for that.

That's about as bizarre of a request from a customer I've ever heard. Aside from not looking so great, it's going to cause a large temp. diff. between the floor and ceiling.

I personally would try to talk him into something more practical.

steel panel radiators

Maybe you should suggest a steel panel radiator. Much lighter & easier to handle.
