The question I have is, does the place heat evenly and comfortably?

Cycling like that does not bother me in mild weather, in fact, I think of that as long cycling. Again, so long as your home is comfortable.

In colder weather, it may cycle ten or more times per hour. In mild weather (say 40's-50's) one or two. Depends on your building mass, (how well the building holds the heat), how much sun you get, how much radiation relative to heat loss... some variables to ponder.

I am hoping you are comfortable and that your mind can be put to ease. If not, let the group know more details.

    Short Cycling

    I have steam heat in my Brokyln apartment building. The Boiler turns on in short cycles. It comes on and a half an hour later it turns off again. Is it possible that my thermastat is broken? Please help!
