the end of the radiator and you might see a flat round spot to drill and tap in a vent. Check out this article by Dan.

Radiator Vent Valve Placement
Hi Guys,
Today I took a radiator from my house that has hot water heat and installed it at my parents house using steam heat. The problem was the valve. For hot-water the valve is in the top right hand corner. For steam heat can I place the valve in the top right hand corner or do I need to place the valve in the middle (which is not possible) ?0
