steam help in Scranton Pa

It is a natural gas, Mclean boiler, about 10 years old on single pipe
steam with an auto fill. Tenant drains it from time to time to flush
out rust, gunk. Basically I want to tune it up, to lower my gas bills.
I replaced the vents at the radiators when I bought the house but that
was it. I am thinking I should improve the pipe insulation, and ? I'm
not sure what else, to improve efficiency, and was thinking of getting a
pro to fire it up and look at it. I mean, it works...the tenants aren't
calling me. I'm going there this weekend, but could schedule something
for later. Any suggestions?

    Perhaps you should have

    waited a little longer?

Mark, anyone who is free to do a clean-out at this time of year is not somebody you want touching anything like this.

Unless someone good just had a cancellation and nothing else to fill in the time, spring and summer are the times to look into this. Who did it last year? The year before?

I'm sure one of us can help out, but not on 72-hours notice. Did you try the "Find A Professional" search up near the very top, second from left "tab" on this page?

Let us know how you make out, please.
