Pour over slab

with gyp over plywood or subfloor products they have a product you spray to help it bond.

It looks and smells like an Elmers glue :) The idea is to bond the gyp to the subfloor.

Your gyp installer should know the right product for the application.

    new construction maybe not...

remodeling adding a system...over shiplap, diagonal flooring, T & G ? might be prudent...sealing the plates on plywood decks might be a smart call also...

    No

You do not need to put a vapor barrier down on the subfloor when pouring a thinslab over it. If this is a first or second floor you do want to make sure you insulate below with around a r20 for efficeincy reasons (foil facing up).

If you are pouring a thinslab on a slab then a vapor barrier is a good idea with some insulation (r5). You dont need to insualte but you will cut down on the response time of your system because essentially what you will be doing is turning that thinslab into one big slab. Insulation seperates them.
