in THE MAIN WALL
I'm working on a remodel of an old farmhouse in North Carolina. I was removing a wall that has a cold air return in it, And was wondering how much room or clearance I need in front of it. It cant be moved the way they framed this house. The vent is sitting between 2 8x8 main beams. I can't reach it from the crawl space. they dumped a bunch of rock under there.
