Radiator Leak Testing

I have a 10 ft. long radiator that I had to move to install hardwood flooring. Before I re-connect it to the hot water system, I want to test it for leaks as it may have become damaged while moving it.
Is there a way to pressure test it with air BEFORE I connect it back to the system?
Thank you.

leak test
We plug off one end and put a hose bib on the other w/ tee for pressure gauge and use a washing machine hose to connect to regular hose and hose bib and backfill radiator to 30 psi. leave test on for awhile on dry floor and look over really well for leaks.0 -
I test with air first; Noah on Speed Dial
I have a device that you can cobble together- just tees and nipples, a gauge and Shraeder Valve plus bushings to suit. One leg goes into the radiator spud (bush down to size).
One leg of the tee has a Shraeder valve (bicycle pump type) and the other leg has a pressure gauge, 0-100 PSIG in my case.
Install and pump up to double your working pressure and at least 50 PSIG. Soap any points of potential leakage.
You may experience a slight pressure drop if it gets cold out. But you know what? It is very satisfying to see a pressure increase because it got warmer. That says "tight" to me.0
