Original central system in the house...

I had to share these pictures. These water radiators are about 120 years old (the ones that aren't replacements) and in the original house.

The old cheapskate that owned the house wouldn't modernize ANYTHING, but he wanted central heat. HE is the one that had it installed. His first wife was in my family (Lizzie's mother), and I went to see the place during a family reunion last month.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these radiators. I'm glad that they're still in place.

Don't ask what happened to the guy and his wife.....
