Old radiators never die

Well , I have a electric stair climbing dolly , A tractor with a front end loader and backhoe , a one to dump , and a number of dollies to move things around . So we don't struggle to hard...

A contractor asked me to do a plumbing project on a rehab. As I was looking up this Five story building I could see Cast iron radiatiors in front of some of the windows. The heating contract had aready been given out , and it is hot air which I don't like doing anyway.

When I asked him what he was going to do with all the old radaitors and I would remove them , his eyes lit up and he was grinning from ear to ear.

I have the equipment and manpower so it is a win win for both of us. I only have a few left but it sounds like my stock is going to be replenished

I had a call from a store owner that had rented out his store front as office space. Many years ago , when they remodeled the front of the store someone had removed all the hydronic baseboard heat and he had appliances on display in that area. So replacing the heat wasn't a big issue.

Well now the real estate people are cold . When I went to look at the space I didn't have more than four feet before I ran into a phone jack, power outlet , old fireplace window or file cabinet they didn't want to move....


The solution ......

walk in closet

I have a walk in closet on an outside wall and in the winter things can get a bit nippy in there .

Well I cleaned up this little guy and put him in there. I shut down the baseboard in the bedroom so it forces the heat in my radiant floor in the bathroom and this guy to run most of the time and heat the bedroom ...

If you have ever put on a shirt or pants right out of the dryer that's what all my cloths feel like every morning........ what a great way to start a day....

Yeah, beauty...

so long as someone else is doing all the man handling to get them up and down stairs and in and out of vehicles etc, I think they are B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L

Otherwise, my back thinks they are U-G-G-G-G-L-E-E-E-!
