options on closely spaced tees

Any benefit on increasing the closely spaced tees with a larger arrangement. Have 1 1/4" p/s loops. Was wondering if say increasing the (tees) with 3" material will any thing be gained or compromised? Thanks

It depends....

if the volume of water that can be moved by the loop pump(s) can at times be less than the volume moved by the boiler pump(s) than it may help to upsize to make the pinch point where the opposite flows come together flow better.. I usually only upsize one size... in your case to 1-1/2"
