on the cast iron boilers I put in. They work well, I have found the 1 inch doesnt' seem to work well on anything but the smallest boilers, even though its flow rating is higher. I am using them less now that I am putting in the Prestiges in many systems.

I chose a ESBE (Danfoss) Thremic valve (TV) as my boiler protection on this job. I installed it on the return. Any opinions on this? Comes preset for 140 ret temp, or 160 if installed on the supply.

    Thermic Valves

We use them as well with great success. They are pretty slick when you think about it.

Where do you buy them, my suppliers give me the "Deer in the Headlights" look when I asked.

    ESBE Danfoss

Any of your suppliers should have access to them. They would all benefit from stocking some.

What state are you in and who do you buy from?
